The MDT 860 two way messaging terminal offers a ruggedized, reliable and secure two-way messaging, providing fast and dependable communication with your fleet. Predetermined "push button" responses makes this a much safer alternative to cell phones while driving to send/receive text messages. Additionally, dispatchers can send messages from existing applications such as Microsoft Outlook.
The MDT 860 sits on the vehicle’s dashboard or windshield and interfaces with the OnlineAVL 2 Fleet Management application and Qube Vehicle Tracking Device. As a result, the MDT 860 can transmit messages from the office to the vehicle and back again.
